Taxes
Those who live in Japan, including foreign nationals, must pay “taxes”.
The collected “taxes” are used for your everyday life.
There are various types of taxes.
When you receive a payment slip (a document required to pay taxes) at home, make payment at a bank, convenience store, or municipal office on or before the written deadline.

Fixed property tax | Tax to be paid to the city. Those who own lands, buildings or depreciated assets must pay. The amount to pay is determined based on the value of the owned properties (lands, buildings and depreciable assets). |

Depreciable assets --- Machinery assets (such as computers and air conditioners) used for business purposes by a company or individual who runs a business.
Failure to pay taxes will result in delinquency charges (money for late payments) in addition to taxes.
